My Life Seemed Idyllic On The Outside While

Ten years ago I was living a decent life that, from the outside, seemed idyllic. I was in a comfortable, secure marriage and had two wonderful children. I lived in a beautiful home in the suburbs in the Midwest. I had a prestigious corporate job as a consultant in the auto industry and was widely respected throughout the world for the training programs I designed.
It looked like the life I had always dreamed of as a child, but I didn’t feel like I thought I should. In actuality, I felt stressed out from constantly running, doing, achieving and creating what I thought was the perfect life. Outwardly I had financial success and recognition, yet on the inside I knew instinctively something big was really missing. One Saturday morning I woke up and felt intense fiery waves of energy moving up my spine almost like labor contractions when giving birth.
